19-year-old Karizmah Johnson and her 9-month-old son, Kylenn Varnado, were victims of homicide in a house fire in Wallingford, Connecticut, according to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner. Johnson's boyfriend, Justin Varnado, was found dead outside the home from complications of thermal injuries, his death ruled a suicide. Varnado had been arrested for domestic violence charges and was prohibited from being at the home due to a protective order. The investigation into the fire and suspicious deaths is ongoing.
