24-year-old Kenia Stefany Lazo Castro and 35-year-old Milthon M. Lazo Ordonez were killed in a Goose Creek townhome fire. Firefighters found the victims on the second floor of the residence, while two others jumped from the second floor before the fire department's arrival and sustained non-life-threatening injuries. The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division is investigating the cause of the fire.
