BLACKPINK, a K-pop girl group formed by YG Entertainment, celebrated their 8th anniversary with a special livestream event, reuniting all four members - Jisoo, Rose, Jennie, and Lisa - after nearly nine months. Since debuting in 2016, the group has released numerous hit songs and amassed a significant global following, with 94.5 million followers on YouTube. BLACKPINK holds 12 Guinness World Records and recently hit the 13 billion streaming mark on Spotify. The group marked another milestone in 2021 by becoming the first Asian act to headline the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival and the first K-pop artist to headline the U.K.'s BST Hyde Park festival. The members have also pursued solo careers, with Rose and Lisa setting new records on Billboard's Global 200 chart and Spotify. YG Entertainment confirmed that BLACKPINK will make a comeback with all members in 2025, along with a world tour.
