19 Minnesota counties approved for FEMA Individual Assistance due to heavy rainfall flood damages.
19 Minnesota counties affected by heavy rainfall have been approved for Individual Assistance programs by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). Residents in the affected areas suffered millions of dollars in damage from the floods and are now eligible for up to $42,500 for housing assistance and $42,500 for personal property damage. FEMA has also approved public infrastructure repair funding for 22 of the affected counties.
