RCMP issue carfentanil warning in Jardinville, New Brunswick, after unspecified drug death.

An unspecified drug death in Jardinville, New Brunswick has prompted the RCMP to issue a warning about a dangerous substance possibly containing carfentanil, a synthetic opioid stronger than fentanyl. Richibucto RCMP were informed of the death and believe it may be related to a drug purchased in nearby Elsipogtog First Nation. The RCMP advises residents to avoid purchasing or consuming any drugs in the area.
