B.C. funds Ontario charity, overlooking local Angel Flight volunteers. Despite the province being aware of Angel Flight's good work, it decided to allocate $20m to a Toronto-based medical travel assistance program, bypassing the B.C.-based group of volunteer pilots who provide free transportation for cancer patients and children with other non-communicable illnesses.
