South Yorkshire colleges and Sheffield Hallam University collaborate, aided by government funding, to deliver new Higher Technical Qualifications (HTQs) for students across the region. The Level 4 and 5 qualifications, including higher national certificates, higher national diplomas, and foundation degrees, help students over 18 and adults seeking career changes gain the skills needed for well-paid, long-term jobs. A full roll-out of HTQs across 15 job sectors is planned by 2025.
