Pfizer opened a $1bn Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) manufacturing facility in Singapore's Tuas Biomedical Park, creating 250 jobs. The 429,000 sq ft site will produce APIs for cancer, pain, and antibiotic medicines, and is expected to supply markets worldwide. The facility, designed for future expansion, has achieved a Green Mark Gold certification and aligns with Singapore's Manufacturing 2030 vision.
