A strong thunderstorm impacted the Reno area, including Reno, Sparks, Lockwood, Damonte Ranch, Reno-Tahoe International Airport, Hidden Valley, Mustang, and Patrick, through 600 PM PDT. The storm brought hazards of 30-50 mph wind gusts, pea-sized hail, and heavy rain, which may lead to minor flooding in urban areas and steep terrain on the east side of the Truckee Meadows. Residents were advised to seek shelter inside a building if outdoors.
