Man John Garrett O'Sullivan accused of preventing father's lawful burial in fridge freezer.
A man, John Garrett O'Sullivan, has been remanded in custody after being accused of trying to prevent the lawful and decent burial of his father, Noel O'Sullivan. The body was discovered wrapped in plastic sheeting and in a fridge freezer at their family home in Culmore Road, Derry. O'Sullivan appeared in court charged with attempting to prevent the burial between July 1 and July 17. The court heard concerns for Mr O'Sullivan's welfare were raised by his daughter.
