At TennoCon 2024, Digital Extremes unveiled Warframe: 1999, a new major expansion set in an alternate 1999 Earth with a grungy aesthetic. The expansion will feature a new narrative chapter and a romance system. Prior to Warframe: 1999's release, a prologue quest called The Lotus Eaters will be available in August, followed by the Sevagoth Prime update. Warframe: 1999 is set to release in winter 2024.
