The Health Ministry has instructed FSSAI to waive off the registration fee of INR 100 for street food vendors as a way to encourage greater participation. Union Health Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda emphasized the importance of empowering street food vendors by enrolling them on food delivery platforms, urging these platforms to provide user-friendly technology solutions without imposing financial burdens. He encouraged street food vendors to take advantage of the PM Street Vendor's AtmaNirbhar Nidhi program to further enhance their businesses.
