EV charging stations on Curtis Street, Ballarat, vandalized, out of service for a month.
Vandalism has caused the EV charging stations on Curtis Street in Ballarat to be out of service for at least a month. This is not the first time the charging station has been affected by vandalism since opening in April 2020. The RACV, which operates the charging points, apologizes for the inconvenience. The charger screens have been damaged, and replacement parts are unavailable due to the company providing them entering receivership. New chargers and CCTV for additional security are planned to be installed in August 2024.
