Azerbaijan's President Aliyev, as Non-aligned Movement chair, seeks to aid colonialism-affected countries, like Comoro Islands and Mayotte.
Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev stated that some countries are still suffering from colonialism and his country wants to help them. Addressing the Shusha Global Media Forum, Aliyev mentioned countries like Comoro Islands and Mayotte which are still under colonial rule. He emphasized that it was their responsibility as chair of the Non-aligned Movement to assist these nations in getting rid of this historical burden.
