23-year-old Luke Smith, who went missing after a boating accident at Lake Macquarie on 6 July, is believed to have been found. The body was discovered in the Swansea Channel on 18 July, following a small boat overturning and throwing four men into the water. Three were pulled out, but Smith could not be located. An extensive multi-agency search was conducted before the body was found, and while formal identification is pending, it is believed to be Smith.
