20-year-old Sydney man, missing since November 2023, found dead on Stockton Beach.

Human remains discovered on Stockton Beach near Newcastle have been confirmed as those of a 20-year-old Sydney man missing since November 2023. He was last seen submerged in water while caught in a rip current with five others. Despite a three-day search, he was not located until the remains were found on August 26, 2024. Police have ruled the death non-suspicious and will prepare a report for the coroner.
