Rhode Island-based Gentiva, formerly Kindred at Home, agrees to pay $19.428M to resolve allegations of falsely claiming hospice services for ineligible patients and improperly retaining overpayments. The federal government will receive $18.956M, while Tennessee and Ohio will receive $448,800 and $23,618, respectively. The settlement resolves claims submitted across various US locations and covers violations of the Anti-Kickback Statute.
