A man was shot and killed by police in Tuscaloosa at a Whataburger fast-food restaurant early Saturday morning. Police were responding to a trespassing call for a male suspect, Joseph Driver, 36, who pulled out a knife and cut one of the officers before being shot. The Tuscaloosa County Sheriff's Office Violent Crimes Unit is investigating, and both officers have been placed on administrative leave.
