17-year-old Millinocket resident Landon Gardner died in a car crash that involved a moose in central Maine. The incident occurred on Poplar Street in T3 Indian Purchase on Tuesday, and the vehicle crashed into trees with a dead moose in the middle of the road. Police were informed about the crash through an automatic crash notification, and East Millinocket police assisted in the investigation.
