China repatriates fugitive wanted for child sexual abuse to US, based on Interpol Red Notice.
China has repatriated a fugitive wanted by the US for alleged child sexual abuse, marking another collaboration between the two countries' law enforcement agencies. The suspect, wanted since May 2014, was identified and taken into custody by Chinese police acting on a US request, before being handed over at Shanghai's Pudong International Airport. The fugitive had an Interpol Red Notice issued against him in October 2018.
