66% of Manitobans concerned about crime, 82% worried about cost of living in recent poll.

Manitobans are growing increasingly concerned about rising costs and crime, and have less confidence in the justice system and public service, according to a recent poll commissioned by the provincial government. The Benchmark Survey, conducted by polling firm Leger, showed that 66% of respondents were concerned about crime and public safety, up 11 points from the previous year. The cost of living was the top concern, with 82% of Manitobans citing it as a worry.
