17-year-old Jayshawn Fountain from Wilkins Township, reported missing in February 2023, has been identified as the body found on the shoreline of the Ohio River in Wellsville, Ohio, in April 2023. The body was initially misidentified as an adult, but DNA evidence from Fountain's brother led to the identification. His body was taken to the Cuyahoga County Coroner's Office, where it was initially estimated he was between 30 and 40 years of age.
