A body was found in the Ohio River near Louisville; LMPD's Homicide Unit is investigating.

A body was discovered in the Ohio River near downtown Louisville on Thursday night. The Louisville Metro Police Department, along with the River Unit and Louisville Fire, retrieved the body. Authorities have not yet determined the individual's age, race, or gender. The LMPD's Homicide Unit is conducting a death investigation related to the case.
