Police officer slashed during domestic violence arrest in northern NSW, suspect charged with grievous bodily harm.

A police officer in northern New South Wales was allegedly slashed while arresting two men during a domestic violence investigation on Awaba Rd in Toronto. The officer suffered lacerations to his leg, hand, and torso, while other officers on the scene sustained minor injuries. A 35-year-old man was found with knuckle dusters and a "ring knife" and charged with eight offenses, including causing grievous bodily harm.
