US start-up Aerolane tests "flying piano" to reduce air cargo costs using geese's airborne surfing technique.

US start-up Aerolane aims to transform air cargo by mimicking geese's airborne surfing technique. At an airfield in Texas, they've been using modified planes towed by another aircraft to capture and exploit air currents for gliding. Their latest test aircraft, dubbed the "flying piano," could disrupt the air cargo market. By capturing vortices in the air and using them to stay aloft, Aerolane seeks to reduce air cargo costs and increase efficiency.
