Colorado-based startup Radia plans to build the world's largest cargo plane, "WindRunner", for transporting large wind turbine blades.
Radia, a Colorado-based startup founded by MIT-educated rocket scientist Mark Lundstrom, plans to build the world's largest cargo plane, called "WindRunner." The purpose of the plane is to transport giant wind turbine blades that are difficult to ship by ground. This initiative aims to improve wind energy logistics and facilitate the installation of larger wind turbines which can harness more energy from high altitudes.
