Nanticoke police charged Kawan Ikee Scarborough, 37, with homicide and aggravated assault in the death of his girlfriend, Lastarr Williams, 27, in May 2023. Williams' body was found in their shared residence with multiple traumatic injuries from physical assault; Scarborough was in custody at the Luzerne County Prison for a Megan's Law violation at the time of the charges.
