Vietnam's CPI rose 4.08% in the first half of 2024, with the General Statistics Office attributing the increase to factors including a 5.51% jump in housing, electricity, water, fuel, and construction materials, and a 9.45% increase in household electricity prices. Education and healthcare services also saw price hikes of 8.58% and 7.07%, respectively. Core inflation increased by 2.75%.
