Ruffin reportedly fled the area in a black Nissan pickup truck after a shelter-in-place advisory was issued for people within a one-mile radius of Timberland Apartments. The advisory was lifted after half an hour, but police continue to ask the public to avoid the area and report any sightings of Ruffin.
