St John Wānaka wins SolarZero's competition, receiving a $45k solar system and subscription.
St John Wānaka has received a free solar system and 20-year solar subscription from SolarZero, valued at $45,000. The Upper Clutha community's nonprofit organization won SolarZero's Solar Future Competition in 2023. The installation of the solar panels and battery, along with the subscription, will provide St John Wānaka with lower energy bills for the next two decades. To celebrate, the organization hosted a community event.
