Worcestershire's Solar Together initiative, a group-buying program for solar panels and battery storage, relaunches for local residents, businesses, encouraging investment in clean energy.

Worcestershire's Solar Together initiative, a group-buying program for solar panels and battery storage, has relaunched, encouraging local residents, community buildings, and small to medium-sized businesses to invest in clean energy. Last year, the scheme resulted in 504 installations potentially reducing carbon emissions by over 9,000 tonnes over a 25-year lifespan. Registration is open until August 9, with an auction to follow where pre-approved installers will submit their bids. Since its inception four years ago, the program has been run across the UK, with over 14,500 installations and an avoidance of over 307,000 tonnes of carbon emissions.
