25-year-old man in Winnipeg faces charges after attacking eight people, including a toddler and a baby, with bear spray on Monday at 5:30 pm near Young Street and Ellice Avenue. Arrested after a short foot chase, he is charged with possession of a weapon and six counts of assault with a weapon. Officers used a Taser during the arrest and recovered a discarded bear spray canister.
