The absence of an automatic circuit breaker on the pole was cited as a critical flaw, supported by testimonies from villagers, eyewitnesses, and gathered evidence. The fire began as a stubble fire in cultivated areas and resulted in 15 deaths and 78 others affected. Turkish authorities are investigating the cause of the fire.
