Scientists propose primordial black holes as a possible explanation for dark matter.

Scientists may have found an answer to the mystery of dark matter, which accounts for 5 times more matter needed for the universe's behavior. Dark matter, invisible and non-interactive with light, has been confirmed since the 1970s, when astronomers observed stars orbiting at the edge of spiral galaxies moving too fast for visible matter and gravity. A new study suggests that 'primordial' black holes, an exotic state of matter, could be the answer to dark matter.
