NDLEA agents discovered a snake-guarded shrine in Benin City, Edo State, containing illicit drugs like Methamphetamine, Loud, Colorado, and Arizona cannabis strains, totaling 8.743 kg. Two women, Sonia Chinonso Ezumezu and Risikatu Tijani, were arrested during the operation, along with other suspects in separate incidents. The NDLEA is committed to eradicating drug trafficking in the region.
