The World Bank approves $900 million in financing for two projects in Bangladesh. $500 million will support fiscal and financial sector reforms, while $400 million will enhance climate-resilient and gender-responsive urban infrastructure and urban management capacities in seven city clusters. These projects aim to strengthen Bangladesh's resilience to climate change and other shocks, and help the country achieve its vision of becoming an upper-middle-income nation.
