NY Democratic Rep. Jamaal Bowman, a former educator, faces plagiarism allegations from his 2019 dissertation ahead of New York primaries. The Daily Wire and activist Christopher Rufo claim Bowman copied multiple quotes from his dissertation at Manhattanville College, including the definition of Critical Race Theory from R. Rolon-Dow's book without proper attribution. Bowman's office has not responded to the allegations.
