14-year-old red panda An An, a resident at Colchester Zoo, passed away on June 14. Born in Poland in 2009, An An arrived at the zoo in 2010 and had four offspring, becoming the great-grandfather of six cubs. Colchester Zoo, which plays a vital role in red panda conservation, aims to continue breeding this endangered species and educating the public about their importance in the wild.
