Endangered red panda Ash relocates to Hertfordshire Zoo from Welsh Mountain Zoo to become a species ambassador and support wildlife conservation.

Endangered red panda Ash has arrived at Hertfordshire Zoo from the Welsh Mountain Zoo, where he made a significant journey in January. The two-year-old red panda now resides in his new home as a companion to female red panda Tilly, following the death of their companion Nam Pang in the summer of 2022. Ash's relocation is more than just a simple move, as he serves as an ambassador for his species. His arrival at Hertfordshire Zoo symbolises the zoo's ongoing efforts in wildlife conservation.
