IMF inaugurates Shanghai Regional Centre in China for enhanced Asia-Pacific engagement.
The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has officially inaugurated its new regional centre in Shanghai, China. The Shanghai Regional Centre aims to strengthen the IMF's engagement and partnership in the Asia-Pacific region by promoting research, deepening dialogue with member countries and stakeholders, and facilitating targeted capacity building. The centre will cooperate with the China IMF Capacity Development Center, co-located to maximize synergies.
