Two Venezuelan migrants, believed to be gang members, carjacked an off-duty NYPD officer in Harlem, Manhattan, armed with automatic weapons. The suspects, aged 20 and 21, were later arrested and charged with robbery, first-degree grand larceny auto, possession of a machine gun, and possession of a loaded firearm. The officer's 2020 BMW was recovered empty less than a mile away, with an iPad left inside used to track the vehicle.
