South Africa's President Cyril Ramaphosa has been reelected for a second term after his ruling African National Congress (ANC) party struck a late coalition deal with the main opposition party and others. The ANC lost its 30-year parliamentary majority in the recent election, but managed to secure Ramaphosa's reelection with the support of lawmakers from the Democratic Alliance party and others.
