17-year-old German teen, Lasse Stolley, has spent nearly two years living on trains, traveling over 650,000 km (400,000 miles) through Germany, the equivalent of circling the Earth over 15 times. Since August 2022, he has spent over 6,700 hours on trains, enjoying the freedom to choose his daily destination and discovering new places in Germany. Lasse uses a rucksack and lives mainly on free pizza and soup from Deutsche Bahn's station lounges.
