Man clings to high-speed train at 175mph after being left behind at a station; arrested in 2025.
A Hungarian man in his 40s, without a valid ticket, boarded a German high-speed train in Munich and went for a smoke break at the Ingolstadt station. Left behind when the train departed, he clung to the train's underside, holding on for dear life as it reached up to 175mph. After passengers alerted authorities, the train was stopped, and the man, surprisingly unharmed, was arrested and faces charges for disruptive behavior and potentially benefit fraud.
