11-year-old girl among four injured in Lambeth Country Show fairground ride malfunction; investigation ongoing.
Four people were injured and hospitalized after a fairground ride malfunctioned during the Lambeth Country Show at Brockwell Park, South London. The accident occurred around 6:20 pm on Saturday, with the injured individuals, including an 11-year-old girl, consisting of a man and a woman in their 40s, and a man in his 50s. The cause of the malfunction is under investigation. The Health and Safety Executive has been informed, and additional safety inspections are being conducted on all rides and attractions at the show.
