Ghana's government partners with seven local and foreign firms, including Nokia and Tech Mahindra, to establish a shared digital public infrastructure for accelerated 4G and 5G network rollout. The Next-Gen Infrastructure Company (NGIC), a special purpose vehicle, is set to lead the establishment of the nationwide 5G network within six months. NGIC will offer an open-access platform to all mobile network operators and collaborate with all tower companies in the country.
