The Ministry of Power and Energy has disconnected power supply in multiple areas across Galle, Kalutara, Ratnapura, Colombo, and Kegalle districts due to rising flood levels and severe weather conditions, with the Ceylon Electricity Board suspending power supply from time to time to prioritize safety and minimize inconvenience. The public is urged to cooperate and not make unnecessary calls to the CEB Call Centers.
