24-year-old Olympic gold medalist wrestler Gable Steveson signs with the Buffalo Bills to play NFL defensive line.
The Buffalo Bills have signed Olympic gold medalist and NCAA wrestling champion Gable Steveson, offering him a chance to play in the NFL. Steveson, a 24-year-old with a background in wrestling, will be playing defensive line despite no prior experience. The Bills hope his wrestling skills will translate to football, and if Steveson achieves a Super Bowl ring in addition to his Olympic gold medal, he would join Bob Hayes as the only athlete to have done so.
