Buffalo Bills drafted Javon Solomon, a defensive end from Troy, in the 5th round of the NFL Draft. Solomon led the nation in sacks with 16, had 32.5 total sacks in his career, and was a two-time First-Team All-Sun Belt Conference honoree. He adds depth to the Bills' defensive line and joins Troy's Kimani Vidal, who was selected in the 6th round by the Los Angeles Chargers, as the first Troy players chosen in the same draft since 2010.
