UDA Secretary General Cleophas Malala has warned cabinet secretaries and politicians loyal to President William Ruto and his deputy, Rigathi Gachagua, over their split loyalty. In a statement, Malala criticised the leaders for disrespecting the party leadership and the presidency. He warned cabinet secretaries Moses Kuria, Kipchumba Murkomen, MPs Gathoni Wamuchomba and Oscar Sudi to cease their attacks on Gachagua or face disciplinary action. Malala's warning comes amidst growing factionalism within the ruling United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party.
